456 Route 103A Newbury, NH 03255
Saturday, May 24-Monday, October 13
Opening event Friday May 23 (RSVP only)
Juried by P. Andrew Spahr, Director of Collections and Exhibitions, Currier Museum of Art, Manchester, NH and curated by Pam Tarbell of Mill Brook Gallery and Sculpture Garden, Concord, NH. This is and exceptional show that includes many of New England's most noted sculptors. With 84 acres of forests and fields and nearly one mile of pristine undeveloped Lake Sunapee shoreline, you’ll not find a setting that better suits Art in Nature 2014.
I have two pieces in this show. I am honored by the professional variety evident in this exhibition. This is a must see summer stop in an exceptional setting. You will enjoy many of your favorite artists:
Anne Kamilla Alexander, Michael Alfano, John BonSignore, Barbara Danser, Murray Dewart, Joseph Gray, Bruce Hathaway, Wendy Klemperer, John W. Mason, Laura Reinhard, Antoinette Prien Schultz, Bob Shannahan, Ben Silva, Gary Haven Smith, David Smus, John Weidman

Each installation provides a new experience of Impossible.
This exhibit has the mass of stone directly over the entry road.
Impossible
2014 size variable, hand made stones
Mass is a law of gravity.
Personality is a force.
My mother always said that I was,
impossible.
Elevation
2014 handmade stone, saplings
Elevation is a lighthearted lofting of the weight of a single stone. In this setting I have opened the sapling structure for easy entry, inviting a playful interaction with the volume and space. The siting, amongst the blueberry garden will surely inspire both young and old explorers of this exceptional historic estate and garden.
