Open Studios Maynard! 9/28 & 29 12-5

We have not had an open house/studio in several years so this is a great opportunity for our friends to see what we have been doing creatively and to take a rare personal tour of our studio practice. Our home is full of our work on view and lived with:

123 Summer Street Maynard MA.

Maynard is a great town full of many fine ethnic restaurants where the food is authentic and owner designed. Please plan to linger. Make an afternoon of it and visit our classic brick schoolhouse -
ArtSpace, one of the largest arts centers in New England, invites you to attend its annual ArtSpace Artists’ Open Studios event on Saturday and Sunday, September 28 & 29 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. here at 63 Summer Street, Maynard, MA

Our studios show our active practice and allow an intimate view of works in progress.

I have new work on view:

We look forward to seeing you. Friends are always welcome. Warmly Donna & Andy
CLOSING THOUGHTS: Is craft transcendental? That is the challenge. Making art has rigors of concept that confront craft making. I am drawn to the object but have been trained to eschew attractiveness as a vehicle of meaning.

Land and natural conversations - the geology, botany, zoology, science of our transforming respiring world - are the essence of my life. MY TRANSCENDENCE.
